DANNIKA- Dick Grayson and Annika North

 

Disagreements:

 

Who is more likely to raise their voice? Honestly both of them.  When and if they get into an argument, they both are pretty assertive and or aggressive people so they want their voices heard.

Who threatens to leave but never actually does? That would be Annika, even though this probably wouldn’t happen.

Who actually keeps their word and leaves? Dick. He knows what he wants and if he’s mad he would walk out if only to regain his composure.

Who trashes the house? Neither of them do that out of anger but Annika yelling means Canary Cry so the house gets trashed from that.

Do either of them get physical? No. Annika crosses her arms to avoid getting physical. And Dick just isn't that type.

How often do they argue/disagree? Not very.  Usually their relationship is very relaxed but every so often they disagree or argue about something

Who is the first to apologise? Dick. Annika is really bad at apologizing.

Do your muses plan on having children/or have children? Once they’re married they totally do.

If so, how many children do your muses want/have? Annika wants one because she only wants to deal with pregnancy once. However they have two, one of which is adopted.

Who is the favorite parent? Now that depends on which kid. Milo is more of a Momma’s boy while child number 2 is a Papa’s girl

Who is the authoritative parent? Dick. He’s all about the rules and things and wow is he scary to possible significant others when they come by.

Who is more likely to allow the children to have a day off school? Both. Honestly Annika and Dick both skipped classes loads when they were younger so the amount of chill for this they have is a lot. However they want their kids to tell them so they know what they’re doing.

Who lets the children indulge in sweets and junk food when the other isn’t around? Annika is all for the sweets.

Who turns up to extracurricular activities to support their children? Both? When not busy with work they love to support their kids in their extracurricular activities.

Who goes to parent teacher interviews? Dick after Annika yelled at a teacher for calling Milo a problem child.

Who changes the diapers? Annika, albeit begrudgingly.

Who gets up in the middle of the night to feed the baby? They alternate. Annika gets really grumpy if she doesn’t get enough sleep and Dick usually doesn’t want to deal with that in the morning.

Who spends the most time with the children? Annika as her job is a lot less demanding so she has more time to do so.

Who packs their lunch boxes? Annika usually.

Who gives their children ‘the talk’? Whenever a question regarding that subject, Annika walks away laughing. So… Dick.

Who cleans up after the kids? Dick.

Who worries the most? Annika.

Affection:

 

Who likes to cuddle? The better question is who doesn’t like to cuddle. The answer that that is neither. So both.

Who is the little spoon? Annika is smaller than him, so her.

Who struggles to keep their hands to themself?  Dick.

How long can they cuddle until one becomes uncomfortable? I’m just imagining them cuddling and then Annika whispering that she has to go to the bathroom and that’s how uncomfortable they get.

Who gives the most kisses? Dick but Annika literally melts into them

What is their favourite non-sexual activity? Just sleeping. Or simply being around each other

Where is their favourite place to cuddle? Annika is a strong supporter of blanket forts and that’s her favourite place to cuddle, but Dick likes when the two just lay in bed together

Who snores? Neither

Do they share a bed or sleep separately? Depending on when we’re talking. When they’re just dating they usually sleep in separate rooms unless one of them walks in with a blanket and says ‘Sleepover’

If they sleep together, do they cozy up together or lay far apart? They start off sleeping cuddled together but Annika is the opposite of graceful and ends up pulling away or falling out of bed all together.

Who talks in their sleep? Annika.

What do they wear to bed? When it comes to sleeping Annika stops caring so you can usually catch her falling into bed in a sports bra and flannel pants. Dick however usually sleeping in just an old pair of sweat pants.

Are either of your muses insomniacs? Neither of them are actually insomniacs but sometimes they just aren’t tired.

Can sleeping pills be found by the bedside? Nah they’re usually too exhausted to need them

Do they wrap their limbs around each other or just lay side by side? All wrapped together like a burrito

What are their jobs? Annika is a Bodyguard but due to her martial arts background she is often sought after and asked for. Dick is a Police Officer in Bludhaven.

Who stresses the most? Dick. Mostly because Annika has taken more than a few jobs to bodyguard actual villains (Lex Luthor*, Oswald Cobblepot, ect…)

Do your muses enjoy or despise their careers/occupations? They both love their work.

What do they do when they’re away from each other? Annika complains that there isn’t anyone to talk to, but then denies it. They keep in contact whenever they can.

Where did they first meet? Gotham Academy as Dick and Annika, the streets of Gotham as Sparrow and Robin.

How did they first meet? She needed help in Math and he offered to help. And Sparrow tried to sneak onto one of Batman and Robin’s patrols.

Who spends the most money when out shopping? Annika.

Who’s more likely to flash their assets? Neither. They are both pretty modest in that aspect.

Who finds it amusing when the other trips over? Annika.

Any mental issues? No.

Who’s terrified of bugs? ANNIKA.

Who kills the spiders around the house? Dick. Annika will cry.

Their favourite place?  They like being anywhere as long as their together

Who pays the bills? Both.

Do they have any fears for their future? They fear for their kids, and for their lives in the business they’re in.

Who’s more likely to surprise the other with a fancy dinner? Dick is much more thoughtful than Annika is.

Who uses up all of the hot water? Annika.

Who’s the tallest? Dick.

Who’s more likely to just randomly hop into the shower with the other? Dick.

Who wanders around in their underwear? Annika.

Who sings the loudest when singing along to the radio? Annika.

What do they tease each other about? She calls him so many names to do with Robins even when he gives up that mantle and he makes fun of all her accidental canary cries.

Who is more likely to cringe at the other’s fashion sense at times? ANNIKA BECAUSE HAVE YOU SEEN HIS FASHION CHOICES?! One word. Discowing.

Do they have mutual friends? They have a lot of mutual friends, however he’s not a fan of Lev.

Who crushed first? Dick. Annika wasn’t really interested in dating when they were younger

Any alcohol or substance related problems? Nope

Who is more likely to stumble home, drunk, at 3am? Depending on the situation. Could be either or really.

Who swears the most? Not Annika**

 

*Lex Luthor: I know he has Mercy, but I head canon that when he *SPOILERS* learns the secret ID of Mr Dick Grayson (Which he does in DC Canon) Before he tells the world he tries to mess with him by hiring his significant other.

 

**Not Annika: I personally don’t swear, so I wouldn’t write either of them swearing in all honesty. But I know in DC Canon Dick swears a little bit, but I don’t want to make it sound like he swears like a sailor as that’s not in his personality.

SIDENOTE: Lev wasn't actually tagged, Elsie and Annika were doubled so I figured I'd involve Mr Hero Hater. ENJOY! AND ANYONE THAT WANTS TO DO THIS THAT HASN'T... feel free! Have a good time!!


Annika North/Sparrow: 

Annika’s name was inspired by a fanfic I read for a video game that I like. Their character’s name was Annika but later found to have the name Scarlet instead, however I fell in love with the name Annika.

 

A lot of things about Annika I just kinda pulled out of the blue when I first made her up like “Lets just throw some invisibility in there!” and “Well she dates Robin so why not call her Sparrow?” Which I have been trying to fix by justifying them with good reasoning. (Invisibility is in her dads genes, She wanted a bird name like Black Canary)

 
Annika tends to hate significant others before she dates them. She hated Robin and Lev when first meeting them.


Annika has two younger siblings, Rowan and Brielle North the latter of the two was adopted from China. And was considered the saving grace of their parents marriage, where as Annika is the one that made her parents question their marriage.

 

Annika goes to Gotham Academy and when she isn’t hanging out with her boys Ian and Vincent, she spends a lot of time with Dick Grayson. They become really close friends and she eventually tells him that she’s Sparrow. Even though she’s best friends with Dick she doesn’t like Robin at all, while she doesn’t know that they’re the same person. She finds him annoying and she doesn’t like the teasing she gets from him.

 

When Annika first tried to use her Canary Cry she lost her balance and was sent backwards into the wall. She tends to check her footing more now.

 

In season one Annika is the most arrogant child out there. She doesn’t like Robin because he gave her constructive criticism (He’s younger than her and she has some weird complex about it) and she gets along with like 4/7 members of the team, initially. In the 5 year gap, Annika realized that she was being stupid and tries to make amends with the team members she kinda snuffed, resulting in her getting along with almost everyone on the team and giving her her much friendlier personality.

 

Annika has never told anyone outside of her family that she loves them. She has commitment issues and saying love seems to solidify that she can’t escape any time she wants to. Dick, being to super sweet guy he is, replaces the loving words that one would say to a significant other with playful insults instead. Hence their “I hate you” “No you don’t” banter. They love the reaction the team gives them whenever they hurl insults at each other. Lev didn’t quite get it and her lack of a reply to an “I love you” Led to the argument that had them break up.

 

 

BONUS: Someone Annika could get along with really well is Kaldur. He’d never made her feel inferior and when she first joined the team he was the only ones who in her opinion would actually talk to her as an equal.

 

 

 

Elsie Titus/Oblivion: 

 

Elsie’s shy personality is kinda based of off how I react to strangers but simmered down a bit. For example, if I’m talking to a friend and one of their friends that I don’t know, show up, I go completely silent, Elsie will at least try and awkward and stutter-y conversation.

 

While in costume, Elsie feels a lot more free, she can say what she likes because no one really knows its her. Basically with the mask on she isn’t Elsie, she’s Oblivion

 

The name Oblivion was actually inspired by a Bastille song of the same name, which was one of the many things that gave me the idea to make Elsie.

 

Elsie has no clue where she’s from. She doesn’t remember her family at all. All she has from her family and her old home is an old notepad that was with her when she was taken into the orphanage she grew up in, which she can be seen reading every so often when she needs comforting.

 

In the notebook, her mother wrote “My darling, you’re the sunlight on a rainy day and the stars at night.” Elsie never really understood it, but a few people can attest that the sun seems to get brighter and the flowers look healthier when Elsie is out of her own mind, laughing and smiling. (Her powers naturally giving the flowers and her surroundings more energy when shes not completely in control)

 

The orphanage she grew up in was in co-ordinance with a church a little ways away, so she grew up in a very religious environment. She doesn’t exactly practice a specific religion but does believe there is a God out there.

 

No matter how harmful to her, her powers are; Elsie considers them a gift. She’s glad that she can help people and wants to do it until her powers stop working. With that in mind, Lev gets very angry about that, especially when the two find out how dangerous her powers are to her health. Speaking of how harmful her powers are. When she uses them on someone who lets say for example’s sake has a broken arm, not only will she feel the pain of a broken arm, she will feel it to an extreme. It isn’t rare that Elsie faints after healing someone, especially when more damage is to the person she’s healing. And if she heals someone who was only injured and not dying/dead, that person has a lot of leftover energy, whereas Elsie is drained.

 

When Elsie graduates from College she wants to become a Paramedic. She dislikes the idea of having to wait for the hurt people to come to her. She can’t imagine having a patient die in transport to the hospital, so if the person she’d treating is dying she will use her powers as to keep them alive. Unfortunately, that means her co-workers and the doctors are very suspicious of her.

 

BONUS: Being around Elsie has this strange calming effect that no one can really place. She’s just relaxing to be around.

 

 

 

Levitt Davis/Decoy:

 

Lev is a very selfish person. Whether it be him going ahead of others or keeping people he cares about to himself. For example: He gets angry with Elsie for being all for her powers even though they both know the effect they have on her.

 

Lev used his powers when he still hated superheroes. He didn’t use them for anything important, mostly so he could be in more places at one time. Its not rare to see him in various cities all over at one time.

 

Lev is supposed to be known as flirty, unfortunately I suck at RP-ing flirty and I can never think of any on the spot. It takes me forever to write his dialogue.

 

Lev’s middle name is Graham, named after a character in a book (I don’t remember which one…) But the main character was very similar to how I’d written friendly, joke-y Lev, and the name sounded good.

 

It took me a strangely long amount of time to figure out  Lev’s design and truthfully I’m still pretty iffy on it. But I’m in love with his, lovingly named, Rooster hair, so I’ll probably leave it alone.

 

I wanted to have Lev from Dubai, and I’m still trying to work that into his story, however it would affect his accent and I’m unsure of what else it would affect about him.

 

Lev’s whole “I hate superheroes” thing started when his dad died in a city state of emergency due to some villains escaping Arkham. So Lev strongly believed that it was the heroes’ faults. “Where were you when we needed you?” Type of thing.

 

When Lev and Elsie first met, Lev was instantly infatuated with the little brunette. Whereas she just wanted to be friends, his attempts at playing it cool actually caught her eye.

 

BONUS: When Lev unofficially joins the team, (by that I mean he basically gets called in whenever the team is short-handed) no one trusted him. He was under guard duty by Batman and basically anyone that the League believed could take him down.

I picked a really stupid schedule for classes. Sure I get to sleep in and as long as I leave by 11:30 I should be fine, however it leaves little to no time to do anything else. I haven't even done much homework. 

I'm so sorry if it feels like I'm ignoring you guys, trust me I would much rather be drawing Lelsie than animating a bouncing ball for the hundredth time.

Y'know... you have more OCs than I do, which makes this quite hard for me... I love all your characters, which should be obvious. And as much as I love them all and it physically pained me to choose a favourite. But, no matter how much it hurts, I gotta say... I absolutely love little bby Maizy Her design, _{Her parents <3} , literally everything. 
 

2. Zinniia 

Oh my gosh. Well you should know that when you commented I was like "Sterling." Because he's just so cute!! I'm sure you know how much I love Tasia, because how could I not, but Sterling is adorable!! I wanna like secretly ship Elsie with him ('Cause apparently I like to do that....) He's just adorable and I love imagining his accent and I hope you can imagine my heart eyes when he first popping in in the chat

I mean Obviously I love Di, and even though I don't know too much about the lovely miss Pendragon, but her design, and her playlist (Which I have listened to many a time) and what I've pieced together (which isn't too much) she seems really cool!! And I'm really excited to see more of her!!
